Paper Drying Cylinder For Paper Mill

Dryer cylinder

During the drying process, the transmission system must adapt to the shrinkage rate of the paper sheet, while maintaining appropriate traction to ensure the smooth advancement of the paper sheet. Different types of paper have different requirements for traction force, and even the same type of paper has different requirements at different drying stages.

In order to improve the quality of paper, ideally, each drying cylinder should be driven separately, and the speed of the drying cylinder should be gradually reduced according to the shrinkage of the paper sheet. However, such a design will increase the cost and structural complexity.

At present, different group transmission methods are usually adopted according to the different shrinkage rates of paper. For example, for high-grade thin paper made with high-viscosity pulp, the number of drying cylinders in each group is small due to its large shrinkage rate; for general cultural paper, the number of drying cylinders in each group can be moderately increased due to its small shrinkage rate; for sack paper, in order to ensure that the paper has good elongation and toughness, the number of drying cylinders in each group should also be controlled within an appropriate range.

By rationally designing and selecting the transmission mode and optimizing the transmission system of the drying cylinder, the quality and performance of the paper can be effectively improved, ensuring the production of high-quality paper products that meet the requirements. Formulate a scientific transmission plan to ensure the stable drying process of the paper sheets, produce better quality paper products, and help the development and improvement of the paper making industry.
