Crescent Former Tissue Machine Technology

The primary goal of Crescent Former Tissue Machine is to create a thin and soft paper sheet that is absorbent, strong, and suitable for consumer use. This paper can then be processed into various finished products that meet the standards of customers and retailers in the market.

Crescent Former Tissue Machines are designed to evenly spread a mixture of wood fibers and water into a thin layer, and then remove most of the water. This mixture, called ‘stock’, is mostly water and fibers. The resulting tissue paper can be used for bathroom tissue, kitchen towels, facial tissue, handkerchiefs, and industrial wipers, with a typical weight of 13-25 grams/square meter.

The sheet-forming process involves draining water in the forming section, pressing between rolls in the press section, and then drying with heat energy. Drying can be done by direct contact with a hot surface or by blowing hot air onto the sheet. In the TAD process, hot air is blown through the sheet for drying.

By far, the most common Crescent Former Tissue Machine concept used today is the Crescent Former, also called a Dry Crepe or conventional machine. Welcome to leave your email for more details of paper machine. Email: leizhanworld@gmail.com
